Like so many moms, I felt torn. I wanted to contribute more financially, to have something that was mine, to show my kids what’s possible when you chase a dream. But I was also deep in the daily juggle—meals, school drop-offs, laundry, tantrums—and the thought of adding “one more thing” felt impossible.
I started small. I published children’s books. I experimented with side hustles. I tried, failed, learned, and got back up again. Slowly, I found my rhythm—and discovered that building income doesn’t have to mean grinding yourself into burnout or choosing between family and freedom.
